Description
Due to a future downsizing the time has come for me to sell 90% of my vast collection that has been put together the last 48 years. Its going to be a slow process over the next two years or so and will include some extremely rare items.
Up for sale in this listing is the extremely rare budget cover album on the Boulevard label called 1970 Top 12.
As many Elton fans know between 1969 - 70 Elton featured on over 40 tracks as an anonymous cover artist as part of The Alan Caddy Singers. This album is a gem and is as good as unreleased album with the lead and backing vocal appearances Elton makes on it.
This album features Elton as lead vocalist on 5 tracks and as backing singer or harmony vocals on another 3 tracks.....see pictures for full track listing.

This album from 1970 was only released the UK
The vinyl itself comes in near mint condition with the cover near mint too.
It's as good as an unofficial Elton John album that at the time nobody knew that the already successful Elton John who had penned the hit " Your Song" that started his super stardom had taken part in these budget cover albums.
To see this album at 50 years old survive in such stunning condition is rare in itself because most of these albums ended up in the skip as nobody realised the significance of them especially this one where the artist later become one of the most successful male artists of all times.
Get this while you can it seldom comes on the market in this superb condition nowadays as not many now exist as defined by its lack of availability on the open market.
I beleive if you buy this album you will have one of the best surviving copies out there.
