This listing is for the rare/limited expanded 25th anniversary edition of Elliott Smith’s sophomore & self-titled solo album on 2 transparent blue 12” vinyl records. Along with the records (which include never before released live recordings and some other cool songs from that era of his career) you get the coffee table style book full of photos and writing layed out by JJ Gonsin (with the help of a few others listed in the credits at the end of the book). This is a REAL DEAL collectors piece for any Elliott Smith fan and it’s something I never would have imagined selling; but I’m trying to fund a new project by selling some of my more valuable records. But with that being said I’m not extremely desperate to sell this, so it’s just gonna be what the set price is (which is comparable to the only other pre-owned ones on here and I believe this is the only one of this colorway that’s not $1200). Speaking of it being pre-owned, I literally only played the records twice and looked through the book like 3 time (right when I got it and then the two times I played the records). When playing the records I was extra cautious because this has been one of my favorite records since getting it which is why I was trying not to over play it. But anyway, the point is that the records and the book are both in great condition. The outside of the book has an almost felt like texture and the book is overall just well made. I’m sad to have to sell it, but also excited about the project I’m funding, so it is what it is. I hope someone who loves Elliott as much as me gets this amazing piece!
