Description
DESCRIPTION: This is an original German pressing of Electric Sandwich's self-titled first album from 1972 on the Brain Metronome label. This particular version was pressed at the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft pressing plant and cut by Pauler/Fehlauer, as indicated by the initials 'PF', etched into the deadwax area around the labels.
The vinyl looks in near-mint condition. It plays nicely with occasional light crackle here and there, but this is not loud, never overpowers the music, and can only really be heard during quieter moments. Otherwise, there are no loud pops or skips.
The laminated gatefold cover has a slightly squashed spine, resulting in a little bit of laminate-lift on the spine itself, but none of the laminate has lifted on the gatefold panels themselves. There is a faint impression of the record on the rear panel, some light rubbing on the internal panels and tiny wear at the corners, but the seams are clean and intact.
GRADING: Unless a record is sealed, I play-grade everything on a high-end turntable. My grading is strict, so even if you are buying a 'VG+' record from me, the chances are that you are actually buying a very nice keeper copy. Despite this, mistakes can happen; so, if you feel that I haven't graded something properly, please contact me immediately. As a collector of vinyl myself, I know how important customer satisfaction is and I will do everything I can to resolve any issues.

PACKAGING: I do not charge for packaging costs. All records are packed well in sturdy record mailers with additional cardboard for protection. To prevent any seam splits during transit, I always ensure that records are packed outside of their covers.
