Description
Well after many decades I have now come to the point - reluctantly - where I am parting with my personal record collection.
Difficult to know where to start so I am starting with my Hendrix records. This classic double album was acquired in the early 1970s from a friend who had a Dansette record player and there is some evidence of marks round the spindle holes on the labels. During my ownership the record has been played on a Thorens TD 50 with a very light tracking weight.
The vinyl is in very good condition (other than the marks referred to above) and plays very well. As with most of my collection the records have been kept in plastic lined inner sleeves. This is an excellent album to listen to on headphones although there are some crackles on the quiet parts of the album e.g. "and the Gods made Love" and the start of "Voodoo Chile". Both these tracks are on side one -sides two,three and four play very well.
The cover and spine are in very good condirtion for their age.
