This is the original LP as released by Apple Records back in 1971.  This is not a re-issue-

The soundtrack to the 1970 cult film El Topo, directed by and starring Alejandro Jodorowsky, was released by Apple Records in 1971. The album is a notable part of the Apple Records discography, often associated with the label's eclectic post-Beatles era.

Release Information: Released on December 27, 1971, on the Apple Records label in the USA SWAO-3388

Composition: The score was composed by Alejandro Jodorowsky, with additional music and arrangement by conductor John Barham.

Production: The soundtrack was re-recorded and produced for release by Allan Steckler at Abbey Road Studios in London, at the request of John Lennon.

Significance: The album was famously promoted by John Lennon and Allen Klein, Apple Records' manager at the time, following their discovery of the film.

Genre: The music reflects the film's "acid Western" style, featuring surreal and experimental compositions.
