(UK DERAM NOVA, SDN 14, 1969)
Nice ORIGINAL RARE UK STEREO PRESSING of this Canterbury prog classic by one of the best bands to ever walk the planet! Released on Deram's short-lived Nova imprint, this sold little at the time and is becoming harder and harder to find these days in any condition. Very funky, full of beats, funny lyrics, incredible musicianship - it can only be Egg. The sleeve is the RARER first edition with the corrected tracklisting sticker (see pic). The album was meant to have Movement 3 after Blane on Side 2 but was removed due to copyright reasons. If you look at the timings you can still see the time for that removed track (3:14). These were just leftover sleeves. Only a handful of mono pressings leaked out with the removed Movement 3, these are incredibly scarce. Slightly later pressings (although this was never reissued on this label) have the corrected sleeve. Very hard to come across, and hardly ever turns up, especially in this condition! Don't miss out!
Vinyl is in EX condition : has some light marks, plays with some light surface noise and crackle but sounds great overall
Laminated sleeve is in VG condition : has ripples from presumed water damage (see pics) on both sides, hence the downgrading, some creases on the front, wear on the back, corrected tracklisting sticker has some wear
Blue and white Decca company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition : has some creases and light wear, no splits
