Edison Diamond Disc “Every Day Will Be Sunday When The Town Goes Dry” Meeker. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This is a record I bought at a antique dealers estate sale. I am not knowledgeable about very old records, but here goes..it is a very thick record, upon some investigation, I believe it is a diamond disk, although it doesn’t have numbers carved on the edge. The numbers in the front of the record are 50529-L and the “B” side are 50529-R. The title is “ Every Day Will Be Sunday When The Town Goes Dry” , it is a comedy song about prohibition. I have not heard this record directly, I heard the song on YouTube, although it looks like it is in great shape, not a lot of scratches to the naked eye. The record came out in 1919.
