Description
Collectors, here is a wonderful disc, Edison Diamond Disc #52207, circa fall 1928. Frank Bessinger and Jerry White ("The Radio Franks") perform two songs, with orchestra: "Dream Kisses", and "Who's Blue Now?". Lively tunes, clever lyrics, fine duet singing, very enjoyable music. "Kisses" was issued as Blue Amberol cylinder record #5585. The record plays well with minimal surface noise, the start of "Kisses" has some scratching sounds: there are no edge chips, and the labels are firmly attached to the record. Scarce record issued less than a year before the end of Diamond Discs, go for it!
