Description
Collectors, here is Edison Diamond Disc record #52160, circa early 1928. An Elks male quartet from a New York post performs two spirituals: the famous "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen", and "I'm a Soldier of the Cross". Super performances, the bass voice is superb, very enjoyable listens. As far as I can tell, neither song was issued as a Blue Amberol record. The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise. There are minor edge chips, and the labels are glued tight to the record. A record issues late in Diamond Disc land and incredibly rare, if this is what you like do not pass it up!
