Description

Collectors, here is Edison Diamond Disc record #52055, circa fall 1927.   Two Fox trots for dancing.  On the "R" side, the Green Brothers Novelty Band performs "Sweetness".  On the "L" side, Duke Yellman and his orchestra play "Just Like a Butterflly".  Advanced jazzy arrangements with many solos and fine playing, two great listens.  As far as I can tell, neither song was issued as a Blue Amberol cylinder. The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise.  Ther are minor edge chips, and the labels are attached firmly to the record.   Scarce late 52000 series Diamond Disc for your dancing pleasure, go for it!
