The Bum Song - Eddie Kirk
Edison Blue Amberol Cylinder #5605
Recorded in July and released in November of 1928 and dubbed from the master of Edison Diamond Disc #52384-L, this is one of the extremely late Blue Amberol cylinders. Electrical dubbing from disc to cylinder began in 1928, so this selection is a true electrically recorded and dubbed cylinder. It is in very good condition, with bright lettering on the rim, clean plaster inside, and only a few light and non-sounding surface surface marks that show it has been used. There are no splits, pits, heavy scratches or other major defects. The record come in an original late style box, without Edison's picture. No lid. I'll grade this one a 9 on a scale of 10.
