Hard-to-find recordings. Condon's work for Columbia was originally released over nine albums and two anthologies, and needless to say is impossible to find today. This Mosaic reissue includes them all in complete chronological order. The booklet contains previously unpublished photographs from the actual sessions, liner notes by Max Harrison, and reminiscences from original producer George Avakian.
The music contains priceless memories of the sound Eddie's determination brought to the stages of Town Hall, the Metropolitan Opera House, the whole wide world, and his cramped, but happy, club.
