Description
This 1959 release was an opportunity for Eddie Cochran fans to buy the A sides his first 4 UK singles on one convenient disc with the added bonus of a sleeve with a picture of Eddie from the film "The Girl Can't Help It" set in a red background. The later re-issues had an orange one. The record itself is the first pressing from early 1959 with a tri-centre. The pictures confirm that this EP is an original, comparatively rare and thus a very much sought after item.

SLEEVE is a top condition repro as illustrated with no splits, tears or writing.
RECORD The very good condition shows that the previous owner[s] took some care of it over the ensuing 56 years. The record has vinyl wear plus scuffs but plays well with a little background crackle with no loud clicks or jumps. The listening experience is an insight into the quality of Decca’s record manufacture in the late 1950s. There are many superficial marks on the playing surfaces and some faint biro on Side 1's label [see picture]. These do not affect the sound, which is very clear. This 45-RPM Extended Play record is the original UK 1959 tri-centre pressing and not a 1960s’ circular centre re-issue. If you want an original 50s’ rock ‘n roll record then this is the one.
