Description
Easybeats - Peculiar Hole In The Sky / HP Man (Parlophone Oz 1969) VG- in Company Bag.
Absolute Psych masterpiece from these very underrated downunder geniuses. Distorted vocals, backwards tapes, mad melodic shifts and heavy orchestration. This was only released in Australia a long time after it was recorded and a long time after the peak of psychedelia, meaning it sold poorly and is hard to find. Not the best copy in the world it has to be said, with lots of marks and some noise, but it plays pretty well and the music shines through. Listen for yourself below.
Listen to both sides taken from the actual 45 for sale:
Side A: Peculiar Hole In The Sky:
Side B: HP Man:
Grading
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.
VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.
