Description
This is the first Lp by the group East Of Eden, titled "Mercator Projected", released in 1969 on the Deram label. The LP number is SML1038. This is the first pressing, original, U.K. release from Decca in England on heavy, super-fine vinyl. The condition of this record must be seen to be appreciated. It is as near perfect as you are likely to find, with no visible scratches or scuffs of any kind, and no visible wear. It is a Near Mint record by the strictest of grading standards, and, plays perfectly, with no flaws or noise. The jacket is graded at VG+ and is in excellent condition with no marks, tears, split seams, or,bent corners. The front of the jacket is laminated as it was originally issued, and, has some slight creases, and some slight fading near the top of the back cover. This record is from a private audiophile collection, and, has been meticulously cared for, and, cleaned with the VPI professional vacuum cleaning system. The record comes with a protective inner sleeve, and a protective outer jacket sleeve. The record will be well packed and shipped in a heavy LP mailer. The music on this rare and under-appreciated classic is a mix of progressive rock/psych, with jazz, classical, and, Eastern influences. It is highly regarded as an early Progressive Rock classic.
