Description
This is truly a rare item. EarPlay was an audacious show on Public Radio during the 1970s. Original plays were commissioned and done on the radio with some of the top actors of the day.
Occasionally you might see an album from this show, but for sale here is something rare and different. This is a 9-LP boxed set of the first 6 broadcast hours for the 1975 season of the show that was sent to public radio stations for their use in broadcasting the shows. That's right - these are the LPs that were created for use by stations.
But wait - there's more. Included in the boxed set are the original promotional materials. Pictures of the shows being recorded. Instructions for on-air staff on when to cut in for announcements. Scripts to use in recording promos for the show.
This set is in very good shape. The box is intact and all LPs and materials appear never used.
