This listing is for a very sought after and killer early Reggae 45 classic 'Oppression' by Alton & Zoot AKA Alton Ellis and Zoot Simms 2 of the greatest voices in reggae on the Ackee label. First Pressing ACK 145
Killer tune and much sought after amongst collectors. Rootsy with a political message. An absolute belter.

The record is graded VG but it's a good VG but not quite VG+ but i could just be being cautious. Quite a few light scratches but nothing major and plays really well.
Light biro name 'Steve' on side B label.
A fantastic and rare copy and one that i won't give away. The start price reflects it's true value as an absolute belter of a tune and the stunning condition.
Much of this old reggae/rocksteady was played to death at parties when it came out and copies were often ruined. This one hasn't seen too much action.
Both sides play really well. The youtube clip doesn't do it justice. Nor does my set up, although it does me fine.
Please check out the play in the clips/links provided so you can judge for yourselves. The sound quality isn't great but at least it gives you an idea. My speakers aren't too bad but they're pretty old.
