The Seller is the Original Owner and received this LP as a promotional copy from the label at the time of its release.
At the time of this writing, the Seller had another Eagles title for sale on Ebay.
The disc was visually inspected and appears to be in VG+ condition.  The disc has rare non-standard GREY & WHITE LABELS used on albums destined for radio DJs, and have the wording: "RADIO STATION USE ONLY".  This is a Columbia Santa Maria Pressing (CSM).

The cover is in VG+ condition, with moderate shelf wear.  It has a gold promo stamp on the rear cover with the wording "DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE."  There is a hype sticker on the front titled "EAGLES GREATEST HITS" (not "THEIR Greatest Hits" as on labels, cover, and spine). The sticker lists all tracks in running order.

The skull on the front cover is embossed.  (Note: only the skull is embossed on the cover. Many versions also have the artist and title script embossed too.)
It has the original generic white paper inner sleeve, which has yellowed but has no seam splits.

(Wikipedia Excerpts)  Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) is the first compilation album by the American rock band the Eagles, released by Asylum Records on February 17, 1976. It contains a selection of songs from the band's first four albums, which were released from 1972 to 1975. On the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, the album reached number one, where it stayed for five weeks.

The album has the distinction of being the first album to receive the RIAA's Platinum certification, which was introduced in 1976 to recognize albums that ship one million copies in the United States. It was ranked number four on Billboard's year-end album chart for 1976 and has spent a total of 239 weeks on the Billboard 200 (as of August 2018). The RIAA has certified the album 38 times platinum, indicating sales of 38 million copies in America alone, which would make Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) the best-selling album of the 20th century in the United States.

Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) comprises nine singles released between 1972 and 1975, plus the album track "Desperado". All of the singles except "Tequila Sunrise" had charted in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, and five had reached the top ten. "One of These Nights" and "Best of My Love" had both topped the chart.

The Seller was in the retail record business in the 1970's-1980's and acquired a collection of 2500+ albums from that era, which is now being sold on Ebay. Most are promotional and collectible LPs which have never (or seldom) been played. Many are white label promos, first pressings, and often factory sealed. The collection has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment since 1983, 39 years! Please check back occasionally to see my new listings. I add approx. 25–50 new LPs per week.

Grading methodology is as follows:
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and has never been played.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. May have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, sawcut, or cut corner indicating it is a promotional copy.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches, or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, etc.
