Description

 EYES test pressing 10" on Artifix Records, 2009. Black vinyl. Thick 100% virgin vinyl. 6 songs: TAQN (Take a Quualude Now), Research Bee (***NEVER BEFORE RELEASED OR HEARD SINCE RECORDED!), Eniwetok, Disneyland, Go-Go Bee (***NEVER BEFORE RELEASED OR HEARD SINCE RECORDED!), Topological Lies.

The eagerly awaited COMPLETE recordings of the EYES on Dangerhouse records. This release does NOT include the What? Records tracks from the previouls line-up. This record has all 6 songs that the band recorded for Dangerhouse in 1979. Even the track listing is the exact same as order recorded on the original 2" master reel. This line-up was a dramatic departure from the line-up with Charlotte Caffey and DJ Boenbrake. This line-up still has the amazing vocal and guitar stylings of Joe Ramirez, but now adds David Brown (ex-SCREAMERS, part of BLACK RANDY AND THE METROSQUAD) on organ and Joe Nanini (ex-BAGS, PLUGZ, BLACK RANDY AND THE METROSQUAD, and soon to be in WALL OF VOODOO) on drums.

This test pressing just arrived at our doorstep yesterday and the official release is at least a month off so this will be your first chance to hear this material before everyone else. Also, only the test pressings are small hole and black vinyl. The regular run are all large hole on colored vinyl. Some purists believe that black vinyl is better for tonal range so this MIGHT be slightly better that on colored vinyl. Comes in handwritten plain sleeve with matrix info and song titles. Company stamped sleeve and inner label.
