EXCEEDINGLY RARE HAROLD LARWOOD CRICKET SPEECH 78 RECORD
Surely THE RAREST OF ALL CRICKET 78 RECORDINGS - Original Radio Station Copy
Recorded in the Early 1930's about the time of Body-line series.
Features: FRANK R.FOSTER TALKING ON LEG THEORY on PT.1 & THE RESPONSE FROM HAROLD LARWOOD ON SIDE 2. PT.2
Record is beautifully embossed with Frank Fosters Autograph on side 1. See photo
Trust me, This disc Seldom or Never TURNS UP. Recorded in a sluggish depression period, pressing numbers were exceedingly low. Add to that the unpopularity of Larwood at the time amongst the Australian cricket public would have further restricted sales.
I only know of two of these surviving copies, though their may be others you may well never find such a Pristine Copy.
Only sighted once amongst viewing over a 1,000,000 78 recordings in a 35 year period as a professional record trader.
