Very 1st Press with A1 / B1 end matricies

Released on the 9th of December 1966 in the UK (the following year in the US) this album reached the number 4 position in the UK album charts. But the single 'Happy Jack' from the same album managed to reach the number 3 position in the UK singles charts.

This copy is THE very 1st pressing-there are quite a few A1/B2 variations out there, but not many A1/B1 1st pressings....But here is one.

The vinyl:
VG+/EX-.
I have just given her a gentle vacuum clean and then listened to the album-all the way through-to test for the audio quality...I would easily put the quality of audio in the EX grading as it is clean and clear and free from any nasty pops or ticks-certainly no jumps or skips.
The only reason I have given her a VG+ grading is due to having 3 visual marks to side 2-but these had very little affect on playback-nothing obtrusive at all, as I didn't even notice when the needle played over them-they're simply superficial.
FLAT as the day she was born.
EVEN THE RUN-INS AND OUTS ARE LOVELY AND QUIET
Minimal occasional background noise-really nothing to mention at all.

Just light wear-as can be seen in the images provided.

The Cover:
VG.
It is the 1st printing run of this cover with front and back lamination.
Printed by EJ Day & Co. Ltd. London, W.1.
There are no splits or writing to the cover...the only reason I have marked her down is due to a kind of corrugated effect-not sure why and maybe could be fixed....Without this effect, she would get an EX grading.

The Inner:
EX. It is the original 2 windowed, poly-lined inner in great shape.
