Released on Zeppelins Swan Song label, back on the 31st of March 1976. It was recorded in a time of turmoil for Zeppelin as Robert Plant had a nasty car crash with his wife, in Greece the previous year...Leading him to record this album whilst in a wheelchair and causing Zeppelin to cancel their August tour of the previous year.

I gave her a gentle professional clean and listened to her-all the way through and at volume...SUPERB!

Gorgeously FLAT and shiny. Providing superb audio-TURN HER RIGHT UP!

BRIGHT LIGHT shows on a few incredibly light whispy marks, not affecting playback....SUPERB :)

Even quiet run ins and outs.

Just a couple of tiny, insignificant marks to the vinyl-only noticeable when angled towards the light...These had very little bearing on playback, which was clean and clear throughout, with the VERY occasional tiny bit of soft background crackle-due to static I would say.

The Cover:

SLEEVE BY HIPGNOSIS AND HARDIE

It is the gatefold sleeve with the EMBOSSED/RAISED lettering for the title of the album to the top right corner on the front gatefold.

Also carries the EMBOSSED Swan Song ‘Apollo’ logo to the back, bottom left corner.

There is only some very slight discolouration to cover-please see the detailed images provided and a couple of small abraisions to the tope seam.

Really strong, legible and UNCRUSHED spine, carrying the title of the album and the catalogue number.

Barely any wear AT ALL to them....I CANNOT even see any light spindle traces!

VERY, VERY DISPLAYABLE.

The Inner:

EX-

ORIGINAL double-sided picture inner with the Obelisk and track listing.

Printed on thick, textured paper, showing this to be the very first printing run.

The only downside is a split of around 7cm to one side and another fine one of 3cm to the top. Still retains its integrity and would not be noticed if framing.
