(Professionally cleaned with Pro-Ject VCS Vacuum Record Cleaner)
Well, Beatle fans...Here's one of only two official releases made by The Beatles, back in the day, with an original picture sleeve. It is believe only 250,000 of these sleeves were produced.
It was released on the 17th of February 1967 and was kept from reaching the number 1 slot in the UK by non other than Englebert Humperdinck!!!!!
This lovely piece up for auction:
Cat: R5570
Matrix Numbers:
7XCE 18416-2
7XCE 18415-1
(This does suggest it was Stawberry Fields as side 1 and Penny Lane as side 2)
Original 1st press.
Mothers/Stampers:
Side 1: 2/PR
Side 2: 4/OO
"KT" tax code stamped into the run-off to both sides, as well as on the side 1 label.

Really nice vinyl here.
She looks to have been played very carefully as there really aren't any significant marks to the vinyl at all.
I have just listened to her all the way through and was blown away with the SUPERB, POWERFUL AUDIO.
Wonderfully clear...even the run-ins are fantastically clear and free from noise!
Labels:
EX!
"GRAMOPHONE..." rim text in UPPER case. A handful of spindle marks visible when angled towards the light. Hardly any hole wear at all.
NO WRITING
"Sold In The UK..." text
Sleeve:
VG(+).
The ORIGINAL wavey top opening with picture of The Beatles to the front and baby pictures plus Strawberry Fileds Forever sign to the back.
"Made and Printed in Great Britain" to the bottom right corner of the flipback, to the back.
Only light creasing and some light discolouration due to age.
Small split of approx 2.5cm to the bottom seam.
No writing...A very nice example.
