Description
Here is a fantastically preserved beautiful original 1st press Beatles record album from my collection offered up for sale: The Beatles' debut Capitol album, "Meet The Beatles", released in 1964 by Capitol Records T-2047. This is an early MONO 1st pressing, this has the early press brown letter cover front cover with a "#6" on bottom corner of rear cover and no George Martin producer credits, has the blue Capitol inner sleeve. The labels have three BMI credits and are in fantastic shape!
The vinyl grades easy EX, is super clean and super glossy, has some very faint & very light marks on each side, nothing heavy. PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish, has bright deep clear sound!, no skips or jumps or intrusive surface noise. A very enjoyable listen! Original blue picture inner sleeve is clean with NO splits.
The cover rates easy VG+, is clean and bright with no ring wear, binder edge is solid, EX and readable, bottom seam is EX & solid, top seam in corner has shelf wear with rough edges, back has only a couple very small stains (near Ring's head in photo) very unnoticeable really, minimal age discoloration, opening has a few tiny rub marks, no signatures or writing except former owner's signature "Carol Starkey"( don't know if she is related to Ringo? (his real last name is Starkey) Terrific 58 year old record album! . (see all 12 pictures)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in it's paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
