Here is a beautiful vintage lp album from the dawn of rock & roll out of my personal collection offered up for sale: "Buddy Holly" his self titled album on Coral records CRL 75210.
Released during Buddy's too short lifetime. featuring "Rave on", "Peggy Sue",,"Listen to me", "Words of Love" (covered by the Beatles in 1964),Buddy's version of Fats Domino's "Valley of tears", Little Richard's "Slippin " , Little Richard's "Slippin' and a Slidin'", Leiber Stoller's "You're so square", ""Ready Teddy" (made famous by Elvis Presley),Buddy's classic "Everyday" & MORE! What a songlist and Buddy plays and sings them them with fervor!! Released before Holly's early death in1959. A beautiful addition to your classic rock record collection!
The vinyl rates EX, stunning! super glossy and clean! A few faint marks that don't effect play!
A NOTE ABOUT THE COVER: I had two pressings of this album, the original maroon label 1958 pressing and a circa 1960 second pressing. The original 1958 cover was a bit worn so I united it with this 1960 pressing cover and inner sleeve. The second pressing cover is exactly like the 1958 but the original was sold in an outer baggy and had no shrinkwrap. The original 1958 inner baggy is enclosed too!
The vintage cover rates EX , most of the shrinkwrap is still attached, has great front cover with NO ring wear, no signatures, no bent corners. No stains, Clean white back cover! A punch hole in left front lower corner.(a cruel record store practice!) A small portion of the shrinkwrap on front cover is missing in right upper corner.Teeny 3/4 inch split in seam at bottom center. Upper seam and printed binder edge EX and readable! Fantastic early rock n' roll gem well preserved for 67 years!! (see all pics)
Will be shipped in a protective plastic outer sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number.
