Well folks here's a COMPLETE Let It Be Box Set!!

This was the Beatles' 13th and final official album release. Released on the 8th of May 1970, it reached the number 1 slot just over two weeks later and stayed there for 3 weeks. It was also, sadly, to prompt the Beatles' last live performance: on top of the Apple Building in London on the 30th of January 1969.

An interesting little bit about this album is the cover was originally intended to be the cover which was used for the Beatles' compilation in 1973 for their 'Red' and 'Blue' album.

Even though recording for the album was finished by the end of May '69, it wasn't until March 1970, when Phil Spector was brought in, where it finally got released.

So, here follows the details of this little beauty:

CLEANED WITH Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner

The vinyl has just a small handful of INCREDIIBLY light & wispy marks to her....Nothing feelable at all. After giving her a gentle professional clean, I listened to the album, all the way through and at volume...SUPERB AUDIO!

Certainly no jumps or skips!

On loud playback I didn't even noticed any significant background noise, only a couple of very light and soft background pops-if I were to be INCREDIBLY CRITICAL..There wer 3 or 4 very light, soft pops in the middle of Two Of Us-I am being ultra critical as most wouldn't even mention these inoffensive soft little pops!

The audio was perfectly rich with a strong output-an absolute pleasure to listen to....Even the fade in and out of the tracks are lovely and clear as well as almost silent run-ins too.

LET IT BE shone out in all it's glory, being wonderfully clean and clear-Turn her up-I did...But, to show how clear the audio was, I thought I’d record a much softer track; The Long And Winding Road then recorded a clip for you to hear the quality :)

I even noticed something I hadn't heard before-where Lennon says "..Sweet Rossetta fart she thought she was a cleaner but she was a frying pan"...I hadn't noticed the frying pan bit before.

FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN & STILL RETAINS THE GLORIOUS SHEEN

Original DARK GREEN 1st pressing labels. Lovely and clean. No hole wear to mention...just VERY light spindle marks, visible only when angled to the light and looking for them-absolutley nothing to worry about at all.

Glorious glossy sheen to both the front and back.

*A SUPERB COVER HERE*

The corners remain lovely and strong, with only some light storage wear-please see the images for yourselves and you'll see these are nothing to worry about.

The spine is superbly clear and flat, with barely any rubbing at all and remains perfectly legible.

The Apple to the back is RED-showing it to be the very first pressing...If you need more convincing than the end matricies as well as the Mothers and Stampers! Not often at all you get to see these up for sale!

There are just around 4 crescents of spidering to the front laminate, near the opening, along with just a few very small small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams...REALLY NICE.

Die-cut plain white inner-albeit with just some foxing to the paper due simply to age. No writing...

To the front, the pictures are lovely and clear-gorgeous sheen to the fully laminated outer cover. The corners are fantastic too, with just light rubbing wear to them....I am being very honest, open and critical here.

NO SPLITS TO THE CORNERS-OR ANYWHERE FOR THAT MATTER.

There is a small line of spidering to the bottom of the front cover-but not over the Beatles' images and remains inconsequential, as well as just some VERY light rubbing to the edges.

Superb, SOLID example!

It really is in great shape.

When removing the inner tray the cover doesn't collapse and stays proud-showing the quality of this baby.

The singular thing I saw to possibly mark it down was a tiny nick to the back of around 4mm, creating a small 4mm patch of lifting, which has been sympathetically repaired.

The back of the outer cover has the credit of..

Inner Trays:

*ORIGINAL AND NOT REPRODUCTION*

We all know how delicate these ORIGINAL trays were and this one is no different.

The outer tray has some rubbing to the edges but remains in easy EXCELLENT condition and free from any major rips-there is a small 1.7 cm split to two of the creases at the top of their factory crease but remains insignificant as it has no bearing on structural integrity and I only noticed it when taking the photos and have include one of this, so you can see how insignificant it really is.

The die-cut inner tray remains all in one piece-which is unusual-. There are some please see the detailed images for yourselves.

Very rare to have these ORIGINAL trays in place and to be in great condition....AS WELL AS STILL ALL IN ONE PIECE AND NOT TORN AWAY!

Brilliantly shiny cover free from any spidering-WOW-please see the detailed images for yourselves.

I DIDN'T find any loose pages!

Even has SHARP corners.

It is a delicate book, which should never be opened wide as the glue they used back then was quite inferior and became brittle with time-this copy is no different.

NO spidering to the laminate at all-just a bit of lifting near the soine to the front-which hasn’t broken through.

Gloriously glossy pictures with all their original color.

SUPERB TO FIND THIS BOOK IN THIS CONDITION AFTER ALL OF THESE YEARS.
