This was the very first official release, being released on the 22nd of March 1963 (MONO version) and later on the 26th of April 1963 (STEREO version). The Lp reached number one in; Disc Weekly, Melody Maker,  New Musical Express and The Record Retailer in the UK. Only to be knocked off by their next album With The Beatles.

 Amazingly the songs, which were taken from their first two singles and included a further ten songs, were all recorded in one marathon session at Abbey Road Studios. John wasn't feeling too well and got throught the 3 sessions in the one day by having milk, tea and Zubes lozenges....

There are only a couple of the lightest wispy marks to the record, with nothing at all to affect the play. I am just listening to the vinyl right now and turned right up....WOW....takes you right back to the magical 60's FAB!!!

I gave her a gentle clean and the audio blasted out with utter clarity! I even noticed some bells I hadn't previously noticed on Baby It's You! AMAZING.
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN
Very quiet run-ins too...The singular little point of note was a very distance and VERY occasional 'shhh' inbetween a couple of tracks-nothing to be worried about at all.
Visually she appears to have a light blooming affect to the vinyl-I have seen this before when record have been stored in poly-lined inners...However it does not have any effect on the playback audio-which is SUPERB!


Labels:
Near MINT.
 There's barely any central hole wear as seen in the pictures!! Not even light spindle wear!
The labels stand out nice and clean, with no writing or anything to detract from it's gorgeousness.
 Outer rim text starts with:
 "All Rights Of The Producer"
 with no "Recording First Published" text.

 It is a genuine Garrod and Lofthouse cover with the Angus McBean in the lower right corner on the front.
It isn't front laminated and does not have the flipbacks to the outside, they are now on the inside.
NOT Barcoded.
IN LOVELY CONDITION!!!
Just a very light crease to the bottom right corner-as well as what looks light light lifting in some small areas, but nothing bad...Please see the images for yourselves.
LARGE STEREO to the top right.
Bright white shiny card to the back.
No Writing at all!
