Released on the 5th of October 1970, this Lp was to define the 70's hard rock scene... & what an album!! Entering the UK charts at the No. 1 position.

Most of the songs on this album were composed in Bron-Yr-Aur, an 18th-century cottage in Gwynedd, Wales during the mid 70's, after a hectic North American tour.

There are just a handful of light marks to the vinyl, which I found had very little impact on play back AT ALL...No annoying loud pops or background noise. All I noticed was a bit of background crackle on Hats Off To Roy Harper-but even this wasn’t offensive.

I have just given her a gentle vacuum clean, as well as a light ultrasonic bath and then popped her on my deck...I wasn't dissapointed at all :)

Quiet run-ins as well as inbetween tracks.

HAS A DEEP, RICH SOUND REPRODUCTION, WITH CLEAR HIGHS TOO.

SUPERB QUALITY VINYL.

FLAT as the day she was born.

CERTAINLY NO JUMPS OR SKIPS.

ORIGINAL Plum & Orange labels. They remain deep and rich in colour.

Barely any central hole wear and only a few very light spindle marks-which are only visible when angled towards the light and looking for them.

Original 1st pressing GATEFOLD cover being FULLY LAMINATED.

It is an unusual cover as it carries the “Atlantic Recording Corporation” credit to the inside, SD 7201 catalogue number to the front and “Made In Germany” to the back...Quite a mix.

It also has the “Credit must be given to BRON-Y-AUR a small derelict cottage in South Snowdonia..”

It DOES NOT have the SD catalogue number to the spine, instead has Atlantic De Luxe.

NO writing, rips or tears.

The spine is in great condition and remains perfectly legible too.

Remains in excellent condition and still fully working.

The Inner:

It is the ORIGINAL UK inner with the "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" box and poly-lining...Not only that but next to MADE IN ENGLAND is the date this inner was made: 10/70...The next month after this album was officially released.
