Roll up, roll up all ye Beatles fans....Ready to be re-released by Disney in the near future as a 3D remake, it's The Beatles' YELLOW SUBMARINE....
This was The Beatles' eleventh official album release and interestingly enough, the first album of theirs to included non-Beatles material. Released, after a delay, in mid January the album made it up the UK charts to the 3rd position....With The Beatles' 'White' album denying it the top slot.
Made it to the No.2 positionin the US charts, being once againdenied by the White Album.
There were only modest sales-in comparison with other Beatles releases-as the sales were around 800,000 within the first three months, but it did go over1 million sales by the end of the year. This could have had something to do with the album having only four original tracks and the rest was George Martin's film score.

EX! There are only a few very faint marks.
I have just played her all the way through and found there to be only very light and occasional background noise.
CERTAINLY without any SKIPPING or Jumping.
Due to side 2 being more instrumental, the light background noise is slightly more audible. I think a gentle professional clean will upgrade this even further.

Lables: EX.  If you'd like to have a lovely example of this US/CANADIAN release label...Here it is! Lovely and bright and with only a couple of incredibly light spindle marks, which are only visible when angled to bright light.

***Interestingly, the US andCanadian release were issued with a listing of just 6 tracks to side 2-this is because they put together Sea of Time & Sea of Holes....Where the UK release had these as two different tracks.***

WOULD FRAME INCREDIBLY WELL

Cover: EX-. It is the original CANADIAN cover, with the text "Printed In Canada" to the front.
HEAVYWEIGHT THICK CARD COVER
Carrying the all important text next to the Captain on the front cover:
"KING
FEATURES

SUBAFILMS LTD.
1968"
 It does have the red lines to the back-above the text.
The spine is lovely and strong and wonderfully legible.
Theer is just a small hole to the top left corner-don't know why-This is the ONLY detraction from this superbly looked after cover.


Inner: EX+. It is an original "Important Notice" EMI  inner.
SIMPLY EXCELLENT CONDITION
Certainly done her job in looking after this record!

SO, ALL IN ALL THIS IS A RARE PRESSING, COUPLED WITH THE FACT SHE SOUNDS GREAT-SHE REALLY IS A HARD RECORD TO GET HOLD OF IN THIS CONDITION!
