Here is a BEAUTIFUL vintage Johnny Cash collectable promotional RADIO DJ album from my collection offered up for auction: "RIDE THIS TRAIN, A Stirring Travelogue of America is Song and Story". This album features Johnny Cash giving a "tour of the country" as singer and narrator! This includes a RARE 2 sided photo insert written by Merle Travis and Tex Ritter! (See Pics)This is in well cared for condition. Released in 1960 by Columbia Records CL-1464 MONO. The record is RIGID, vinyl rates NEAR MINT, looks pristine, is clean and glossy, plays great with excellent audio clarity! A very enjoyable listen! The CUSTOM red Columbia 6 EYE DEMONSTRATION labels are in EX condition (NOT just a stamp but factory produced) , no signatures,no visible spindle wear. The jacket rates near EX, has bright whites and great color, no splits but bottom center seam & top opening edge neatly repaired with non yellowing tape (very unnoticeable), binder edge EX readable, no writing or signatures. (see photos) Includes a vintage columbia printed inner sleeve.(a couple neat repairs to inner sleeve) There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
