Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

WILDLY RARE gospel soul from right here in the Windy City on the hugely collectable Hummingbird black label from 196?/197? with Lord, I'm Gonna Love You Till I Die on the B-side!!!  Release year is unclear as this catalog number (BP-286) and title are missing from the gargantuan, all-knowing Discogs database.  THAT'S how you know it's rare.  Vinyl is a very nice VG with a few light scuffs.  Labels are spectacular.  The ONLY Google hit for this 45 is a picture of the label on Baylor University's Black Gospel Music Preservation & Archive web site.  That's ALSO how you know it's rare so don't sleep gospel collectors.  Listen to the songs in their entirety below.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
