Description
EURYTHMICS - BELINDA..EX++ PROMO SAMPLE 'G' STAMPER... RCA115..TOURISTS CAN
EX++ condition and Unbelievably rare!
This is the earliest pressing of this early Eurythmics single....
A-1U/B-1U matrices
It has a 'G' stamper to both sides in the run out groove indicating one of the first 300 or so pressed....as shown in pics - look carefully! Also present is a "Not For Resale" sticker on the B side. This was a copy used for promotion of this record.
It seems that they were still finding their feet as this is a stomping dreamy guitar band production. No trademark sound present yet. Would be more suited to a less commercial version of The Tourists.
Includes guest appearance from Holger Czukay & Jaki Leibzeit of legendary Kraut Rockers CAN!
The B side is an experimental upbeat guitar fuelled assault and features intermittent horns throughout over Lennox chanting Heartbeat, Heartbeat...completely off the wall!!
There is some light static crackle at the start of both sides...Labels have practically No Spindlewear. Outer sleeve unfortunately has a stain to the front, traces of tape residue present and some shelfwear. Illustration by Ann(ie) Lennox.
Otherwise a Superb copy...
