Description
Here's an exceptionally rare artifact: an original 1982 MCA reference acetate for John Williams' E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial: Music from the Original Soundtrack (MCA 6109). According to the labels, the disc was cut on May 6, 1982—which is more than a month prior to the album's commercial release. It's double-sided and contains all of the tracks from the score that were included on the vinyl LP. The acetate is in VG condition; the play surface appears clean, though there is crackle and surface noise, particularly at the start of each side. See pics above.
