Description

Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:  TITLE & ARTIST: "The Ernest Tubb/Loretta Lynn Story" - by Ernest Tubb and Loretta Lynn on the MCA Records label (MCA 2-4000), in beautiful original sound, released originally in 1973. CONDITION: JACKET - VG++(Jacket has very light ring/edge/corner wear - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - Near Mint(MCA/Decca's vinyl has no visible marks - Visually Graded under custom spotlight).  SPECIAL FEATURES: This very rare MCA collection of Ernest Tubb and Loretta Lynn's greatest honky tonk recordings together, in beautiful sound. The spectacular gatefold jacket features extensive and informative liner notes by Stephen Peeples. It's a treasure. TRACKS: Sweet Thang, We'll Never Change, Let's Stop Right Where We Are, Love Is No Excuse, I'm Not Leavin' You, Beautiful Unhappy Home, Who's Gonna Take the Garbage Out, Holding On to Nothing, The Bartender, I Chased You Til You Caught Me, Let's Wait a Little Longer, Won't You Come Home, Are you Mine, If We Put Our Heads Together, That Odd Couple, Touch and Go, I Won't Cheat Again On You, One to Ten, We're Not Kids Anymore, I'm Bitin' My Fingernails and Thinking of You, Beautiful Friendships, and The Thin Grey Line. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
