Description
Like most labels, Atlantic Records sent out promotional copies of their records to radio stations. A very small percentage of those albums were monaural pressings, now coveted by collectors and music fans alike. Mono commercial issues of most albums (at least those recorded in stereo) were phased out by 1968, and now these promo-only monaural versions are even harder to find.
Original promo-only mono pressing of the Eric Clapton's classic first solo album. This is a white label issue on the Atlantic-distributed Atco 329.
White label record has a number of faint marks and plays VG++, with just a few spots of light surface noise. There are no real scratches and it's very listenable.
Cover is a stock stereo one with the promotional monaural sticker as shown. It's VG, with a 4" seam split on the bottom, 2" seam split on the top and some ring and overall wear.
