A TRUE CLASSICAL HOLY GRAIL !!!
Artist : Enrico Mainardi
Title : Bach / Suiten for violoncello solo Nr.1 G-dur, BWV 1007 & Nr.2 d-moll, BWV 1008
Label : Archiv 14029 APM
Recorded on 12 & 13 April 1954. Record pressed in May 1954.
This means that the record is a ED1 pressing made with the original stamper:
Matrix / Runout (runout side 1 stamped): 140029 A Made in Germany 032136 WIS 25.5.54 M
Matrix / Runout (runout side 2 stamped): 140029 B Made in Germany 032137 WIS 26.5.54 L
Date on back sleeve: 1/57
The sleeve was printed in January 1957.
Blue technical card included.
RECORD condition : MINT- - thick vinyl - as shiny as new. Record seems unplayed with no spindle mark near howe at centre of labels.
Both labels are in pristine condition.
Amazing sound!
SLEEVE condition: NEAR MINT - given the age, the very fragile stitched cardboard cover shows only very light signs of wear like light ring wear on the back.
