Originally pressed by General Music as a Library compilation, this album collects some among the best film music ever composed by the cult maestro, here released on vinyl for the first time or only pressed on 7''s. The great, soft Psychedelic and groovy tinged themes "LA LUCERTOLA" and "SOLE SULLA PELLE" from the legendary 'LIZARD A IN WOMAN'S SKIN' OST aka UNA LUCERTOLA CON LA PELLE DI DONNA (never released on vinyl before this!); "VERUSCHKA" and "POESIA DI UNA DONNA" previously released on 45 only; "CHI MAI.." and "UNA DONNA DA RICORDARE" from the famed MADDALENA OST; "SENZA MOTIVO APPARENTE" original theme from SENZA MOVENTE OST originally released on 45 only; the previously unreleased "GIORNATA NERA PER L'ARIETE" OST theme; "NINNA NANNA IN BLU" from the rare promo-only 45 "IL GATTO A NOVE CODE" original soundtrack. Absolutely ESSENTIAL, top-notch Morricone's stuff, enriched by astonishing Edda Dell'Orso's vocals and Alessandroni's whistle.
