EMPEROR (Norway) "Wrath of the Tyrant" Original Demo Tape!!
This is authentic! Now is your chance to own a part of Black Metal History! This is not the Wild Rags version, this is not the "Head Not Found" LP version, this is straight from the band back in the day!!
There's a short story behind this demo: I received this from the homosexual murderer himself; Bård Faust! When I wrote him he was know by the name Bård G. Eithun. I ordered a copy of his then underground Black Metal fanzine "Orcustus: Shadow of he Golden Fire". At the time he had just run out of copies of the magazine, so instead gave me a copy of the demo tape of the band he just joined EMPEROR! Unfortunately, I already had a copy of this demo from my good contact Håvard Ellefsen (aka:Mortiis). Bård Faust did not appear on this recording, but he helped spread it around to all his contacts at the time. So for all these years I've been sitting on two copies of the classic and best release by EMPEROR.
As a bit of a bonus, I dug through a box of items I saved from the last days of underground Black Metal and was able to find two old flyers from the EMPEROR members promoting "Wrath of the Tyrant"! One of these flyers even has an early version of the EMPEROR logo!!! Total primitive and grim!! (I blocked this logo out with paper just in case some wimp comes along and robs the image and makes t-shirts or whatever. Believe me, I was in some bands that were bootlegged to death by letting some artwork/recordings circulate. Before we knew it, bootlegs were popping up everywhere!!
