Description
The HOLY GRAIL of Emmylou Harris releases.
First pressing of this ultra-Rare, U.K. only vinyl edition on the Grapevine Label.
Vinyl and cover both in great condition, almost NEAR MINT, but because of the following exceptions, I'm choosing to label this VG++.
PLEASE NOTE: Small "Made in England" sticker on back cover from original release. I have not attempted to remove, thought it appears it may be easy to remove. See photo for detail.
CD liner notes that were shipped with the original LP release are also included with this auction, in mint condition.
Vinyl surface has minor visible, inconsequential scuffing marks from the paper inner sleeve. See photo for detail.
Record label on one side has a tiny original centimeter-long wrinkle created during the stickering process. See photo for detail.
Cover has minor corner wear on one corner, and a couple centimeter long wrinkles on the edges. See photos for detail.
Original blank, white inner paper sleeve included.
Free shipping in US only and via USPS Parcel only. Any additional or alternate shipping arrangements can be arranged at actual cost. Shipped well packed in a proper vinyl mailer.
Thanks so much for looking, and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Wrecking Ball is the eighteenth studio album by American country artist Emmylou Harris, released on September 26, 1995 through Elektra Records. Moving away from the traditional acoustic sound for which she had become known, Harris collaborated with rock producer Daniel Lanois (best known for his production work with U2) and engineer Mark Howard. The album has been noted for atmospheric feel, and featured guest performances by Steve Earle, Larry Mullen, Jr., Lucinda Williams and Neil Young, who wrote the title song.
