In august 82, having just discovered the julienas mailman s cellar, a very well-know place here. jempi told me about these recordings tapes. as i heard about them,i reminded a photograph seen in an old mississippi rag issue.an extraordinary photograph which had made me dream very often as it showed, among others, two mumusicians i lopved the best, playing together .Emanuel paul and george lewis. And i do not think anybody hasever heardin new orleans jazz story, one record featuring george lewis together with kid thomas dixieland jazz baznd and manny Paul!

Sincethat datemiracles followed other miracles up to the birth of thisjazz macon club 137 lp.The wonderful photograph lays now on the cover, thanks to paige van vorst and inside, thereare george , mann yand all other fabulous musicians of kid thomas dixieland band.

thanks to jempi, who understood that our wish to do something important for new orleans music was only because we love it, thanks to Earl Eckman that jempi convinced, jazz macon club is proud and happy to provide you with true new orleans music. the one which comes from heart ang goes to hart.

I must add that, if there were no dancers during the Mendota concerts,André Valdossera ,his BC blues and his record will give back to kid thomas dixieland band music its true vocation, make people dance .Thistoo , is extraordinary!!

Finally,i dedicate this records to both people who delighted us so much, because we have discovered new orleans jazz through the records they have produced, i mean bill bissonnette from bridgeport and george buck from decatur.Gerard Guichardon president of jazz macon club.     LP /COVER VERY GOOD CONDITION++
