ELVIS PRESLEY
"Xmas Album"
Very rare South African release on the black RCA label.
Extract from the Article which is scanned reads: "...one LP that is so rare that it makes Janis & Elvis look like a current release was the South African release of The Elvis Presley Xmas Album (31.118). Although this LP with the same number was reissued in 1958 with the same blue cover as the US LPM-1951, the original version (which came out in either late '57 or early '58) had the the same cover as as the US LPM-1382 Elvis but with the title (The Elvis Presley Xmas Album) written in the left hand top corner. The back cover had the same liner notes as used for LPM-1382 ("It was a cold ...") but a white sticker with the song titles in red lettering was pasted over the 1382 song titles at the top.
Cat No: RCA Victor, 31,118
Condition:Vinyl: VG- (Several surface marks on both sides. Not too serious. Lettering in silver ink. No writting on the labels)
Record Cover: VG- (Very thin paper cover, thus multiple tears on the opening side. Seam split on the left side, approximately 10cm. Sticker pasted on the back with song listing, as it should be. Name written on front of cover in the blue catalogue box. Not clearly visible, see photos)
