TITLE/ARTIST: This extremely interesting red vinyl, 45 - on the rather obscure Spoken Word Records Label - is by the "King" himself, Elvis Presley - and is apparently an "interview" 45 with spoken language from Elvis on both sides (check out the titles). I know very little about this record, but I have honestly never seen any other copy of it. The red vinyl 45, with two different label pictures of "The King" (see pics), is entitled "The1965 Texarkana Interview/The Truth About Me - Elvis Presley". The label gives some info about the record including the fact he has help from Scotty Moore, Bill Black, and Bob Neal on the A-side interview. It is just one of many nicely conditioned, and somewhat rare, 45's/PS's that I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead -and nearly all are in real nice shape. The condition of the vinyl here is very, very good and close to perfect, but please read on for a closer description. LABEL INFO: It is on the Spoken Word Records Label, 100, and in my opinion, is in great shape - not even any visible spindle lines. VINYL INFO: The red vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice with nothing in need of a mention at all either - to me, it looks practically like new. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: To me, this Elvis Presley "colored vinyl" 45 combination is really super clean and nice - not to mention how nearly impossible it is to find, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties.
