All items in this auction are from a private estate of my loving father, who spent his entire life devoted to collecting Elvis Presley items. He recently passed away and left me his entire collection of priceless pieces in the hopes i would be able to sell his collection and buy a new house. I have thousands of unique, priceless, promo, and demo music memorabilia from this 50 year collection. All the items have been sealed in boxes and kept inside the family home. I have too much merchandise to try to price and grade so i will list items gradually as i move.

The RCA Records Label proudly presents THE KING OF ROCK 'N' ROLL: THE COMPLETE 50'S MASTERS. This compilation includes every studio master take of Elvis Presley released during the 1950's as well as a collection of alternate takes, early live tracks and previously unreleased material.

During the summer of 1953, Elvis cut his first acetate recordings of "My Happiness" and "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" at the Memphis Recording Studio on Union Street. Who would have believed that one year later with his sidekicks Scotty Moore and Bill Black, the now legendary recording of "That's All Right" would be cut for Sun Records? Produced by Sam Phillips, it was probably the most important moment in rock history.

Elvis was signed to the RCA Records Label on November 20, 1955 and was ready to conquer the world. It happened within a year and he became the greatest recording artist of all time.

Each of the 140 tracks presented here has been digitally remastered from the best possible sound source to ensure state-of-the-art sonic quality. With certain rarities historical importance has taken priority; however, every effort has been made to restore acetates such as the private recordings from 1953 and "Fool, Fool, Fool" (pictured opposite).

These seminal recordings represent a time when the world of popular music was forever changed and transformed by the enormous talent of Elvis Presley.
