ELVIS PRESLEY RARE UNOFFICIAL 45rpm 12in "BLACK STAR" BILKO RECORDS EPE-1588 . Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. The original title of the film "Flaming Star" was Black Star and a title song of that name was recorded but never fully processed and released, being re-recorded as Flaming Star to be sung over the film credits. Bilko released this sometime in the Seventies as I recall. It also contains 3 other unofficial tracks, (2 takes and an interview). Both sleeve and record are graded as Near Mint, the number of times it has been played is in single figures. There are no surface marks, clicks or crackles but the track "Black Star" has surface noise from the original acetate from which this recording was clearly made. This was not an official release and is of interest to collectors for its unique historical nature.
