Description

Here we have an unusual and rare Elvis item,a black HMV label reproduction of his classic 'Rock'N'Roll No.2' album which was originally issued in 1957 on the HMV record label.The catalogue no.is CLP 1105 and the record is in mono.

This record has the same catalogue number and the same sleeve design as the original but the HMV label is in black.The country of origin is not known but the labels refer to "Made In ECC".In addition the title of the album has been altered from the original "Rock'N'Roll No.2" to "Elvis Presley No.2".The matrix nos. in the vinyl runout are HMV CLP 1105A/B and HCP 871214.

There are 12 tracks as on the original and these are :-

The record is in excellent condition and both sides play very well.There are no jumps or skips and the overall sound is clear and sharp.

The outer cover has been assessed as being in VG+ condition as it is slightly grubby on the reverse side.However,apart from this there are no major marks or blemishes,no rips or tears and no handwriting on the cover.
