ELVIS PRESLEY – POT LUCK (LSP-2523) FIRST PRESSING from 1962 with SCARCE COVER VARIETY

RECORD: VG+ with beautiful glossy surfaces! However, there are some extremely light scuffs noticed, mainly on Side 1. This primarily affects the aesthetics as the audible performance retains full high fidelity with just some sporadic, non-distracting “ticks” during play. The labels on this Hollywood pressing are without any stickers or writing but there is some wear about the spindle hole as well as some light spindle marks. The matrix numbers end with 4S/4S.

COVER: VG++ (EXC) with no seam splits, tape or staple holes. This is the very first cover for this album as the inclusion of  the “LPM/LSP-2523” catalog number was overlooked during the printing process of the back slick! Once the error was noticed, the catalog number was printed after so many were printed without the number. In the area where this catalog number was later printed, there is a price, 3.79, written in pencil. This cover shows some edge and corner wear along with some light to moderate ring wear. The original gray “RCA Victor” inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
