This is an original pressing from 1975 of Elvis Presley’s Pure Gold. Opened, but never played. Vinyl and cover are both in EXCELLENT condition. For further details re: record grades/gradingsystem, see info below. Any questions, just ask.

NOTE:The grade assigned to indicate any of the vintage/used records I have for saleis based on eBay's system, as described below (in order from best to worstcondition):

·        Mint (M): 100% perfect. (“Perfect” doesn’t necessarily meanthe record must be sealed/never opened. With vintage/used/highly collectible records,the fact it’s sealed can’t be used as a sole indicator when determining itscondition. Pre-owned records can be re-sealed at any point, which includes the sellerpotentially having done so. Other factors have to be considered to assign arecord this grade.) The record should have no scratches, and have very, veryrarely been played, or not at all. The cover is similar to as it would have appearedwhen newly purchased. M records are worth the highest possible price (oftensought after by collectors).

·        Near Mint (NM): Very near perfect. May have been opened, butstill appears perfect. Shows no visible defects, or signs of wear; was played,but not often. Same descriptors apply to the cover, and any corresponding inserts,posters, and lyric sheets. NM records are worth 95% of the record’s M value.

·        Excellent (EX): In excellent condition, exceptfor some minor signs of wear, including light scuffs, scratches, or warps thatdo not affect the sound. Label wear and tear is very minor, such as a few marksor scuffs. Same descriptors apply to the cover; should have minor signs ofwear, such as scuffs or discoloration. EX records are worth 75% of the record’sNM value.

·        Very Good Plus (VG+): Condition is only slightlybelow that of an EX record. Should have only minor signs of use; the same as those described for EX records. A VG+ cover,however, can include some defacing, like cut-outs, markings, or drawings. VG+records are worth 50% of the record’s NM value.

·        Very Good (VG): All the sameVG+ flaws as described, but far more obvious. Deep scratches are visible, andwhen played, the record has surface noise. VG  covers are overall okay, and look like they’veseen a good bit of use, but are not trashed; may have writing, tape, and/orstickers. VG records usually sell for 25% of the record’s NM value.

·        Good Plus (G+): Acceptable condition. Still plays throughwithout skipping, but has significant surface noise and very obvious wear andtear, as does the label, which may be damaged altogether. Cover has lots ofwear and tear. G+ records usually sell for 15% of the record’s NM value.

·        Good (G): Same signs of wear and tear as described for G+ records,but worse. G records often go for 10% of the record’s NM value.
