Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1956 RCA VICTOR RECORDS GERMANY 45 RPM RECORD (NOT A REPRO OR REISSUE!!) containing the tracks 'Mystery Train'/'I Forgot To Remember To Forget', two of the landmark pioneering Sun Records rockabilly sides from Elvis Presley. It is RCA Victor Records Germany catalog number 47-6357. After RCA Victor Records purchased Elvis Presley's recording contract from Sam Phillips of Sun Records in 1955, the very first thing they did was to reissue all of Elvis's five Sun Records singles on RCA. The very first Sun release RCA reissued was this one, so this 45 stands as the very first Elvis Presley RCA Victor single release. Condition of this 45 is a high VG with a good amount of surface marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play, and a couple of light surface scratches which can barely be felt and which will cause a few light scattered ticks - Record plays through with some crackly surface noise and the aforementioned few light scattered ticks. Both labels have a little bit of contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws. This historic 45 would be an essential addition to any German press Elvis Presley or rockabilly record collection ! Winning bidder pays $3.00 first class mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - First class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $7.50, Canada $4.00 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the 45 if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
