From 1955 (and the personal collection of Sun Records promotion manager Cecil Scaife) comes this original, unplayed copy of Elvis Presley's fifth (and final) 45 for Sun, "Mystery Train"/"I Forgot To Remember To Forget" (Sun 223)! We had the distinction of listing two of Cecil Scaife's copies back in 2006 and we are beyond honored to offer another one up to you now! As you can see by the photos, this 45 comes out of its original shipping box (not included as part of this auction), is housed in its original brown stock paper sleeve, and is guaranteed original and unplayed! This 45 is guaranteed unplayed but must be graded as near mint, due to two of light hairline scratches on the b-side (there are no known copies of this record from this collection that are stone mint). The dead wax numbers are 45-U-156x 20 and 45-U-157x 20. To protect your investment, this 45 - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
