ELVIS PRESLEY – LOVING YOU (LSP-1515) FIRST “STAGGERED STEREO” PRESSING from 1962 in ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP!
RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with several extremely light scuffs on the glossy surfaces. This is the second album in what I call “The Indianapolis Four” in today’s auction. All four “Staggered Stereo” albums were acquired together and from the same source several years back and all are in magnificent, like condition. They’re all Indianapolis pressings and they all have matrix numbers ending with 1S/1S! One would be quite hard-pressed to find nicer copies anywhere. The “Staggered Stereo” labels are super clean and original with just a few light spindle marks. This Original Soundtrack Recording was originally released in July of 1957 and includes the hit single, “(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear / Loving You”. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S.
COVER: NM and fully protected by the original shrink wrap, in spite of a large piece having torn away from the front! The original store price sticker of $2.35 remains fully affixed to the back side. There is absolutely no ring wear, seam splits, staple holes or other defects. This is one beautiful, fully original cover that looks like it was just pulled from a 1962 time capsule! The original gray RCA Victor inner sleeve is included.
